Wyoma Chouquette, a resident at Life Care Center of Hickory Woods in Antioch, Tennessee, turned 103 on Jan. 8, 2016.
Chouquette celebrated her special day, with not one, but two birthday parties.
On Chouquette’s birthday, the activities department threw her a party featuring music, cake and fellowship with her family of residents and associates.
“Wyoma couldn’t stop smiling,” said Debbie Guy, activity director. “We all had so much fun – it was a wonderful day.”
Near the end of the month, the rehab department decorated the facility with balloons and streamers and celebrated Chouquette once again.
Born in Missouri in 1913, Chouquette’s younger years were spent painting, attending church and working with local charities. She still enjoys art and oftentimes draws pencil sketches during her free time.
